oh and titan ae, the at the time mix of cgi and hand drawn animation was pretty cool i still play the over my head song by lit on audioshield in vr because it's a fun level

ugh I noticed the daily Kindle deal had The Hobbit in for a quid, but https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hobbit-J-R-Tolkien-ebook/dp/B002RI9ZY0 What a loving dull as dirt cover that is, anything else would be better. No kid is going to want to pick that up off a library shelf. Maybe its another 'Harry Potter book but with grown-up cover' thing?

my mom read these when she was pregnant with me, I never had a chance I remember trying to read them when I was like 8 just because of the covers and entirely not getting it but coming back to them in junior high and getting my mind blown. I still have them and the slipcase with the artwork as one continuous piece but they're too beat up to read anymore, I have found replacement copies of those editions to actually use
