There was actually a minor change made to the ending. They removed Nepgear's reference to Rebirth 2 and Uni implying you're playing on the Vita.

Idea Factory International at least recognizes it's a port and has it up for $50. I assume the price covers EN voice actor replacement and re-translating Hyperdimension Neptunia to not use the NISA script.

Neptunia Virtual Stars is out March 2 NA/5 EU for PS4 and Steam on March 29th If you have any interest in Azur Lane Crosswave, the Neptunia DLC is free to claim until March 16th for North America, not yet live in Europe. https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/azur-lane-crosswave-switch/ On the Japanese side, they're saying Spring will be the next Neptunia game announcement and they've been making conversions of games such as Death End Request and Dragon Star Varnir for Switch. I would have to guess Date A Live and a few others will be ported, but as of right now the only new Neptunia content is coming from the mobile game.

Apparently one of the features in Virtual Stars: using Youtube videos to roll their card gacha, did not make it west and you can only use the music videos generated playing a ~2 minute rhythm game in addition to needing the currency to roll.

I can't tell if they phoned it in for Blanc v Zombies and said good enough, or if it took them the life span of the Vita to figure out how to make a game run on it.

I mean every Nep spinoff except possibly Producing Perfection is hot trash from a butt that is on fire but even then Tamsoft has an extremely spotty record. Utawarerumono ZAN was..passable but at least 2 looks a lot better. The Senrans games uh..function? Gintama Rumble and SG/ZH looked dire as gently caress. Then again they did Alien Crush Returns who who can say who is truly wrong and who is right.

My favourite thing about 4GO was that (on PS4 at least) it has an incredibly long initial load that I thought was a funny joke about MMO install times, then when I loaded up a second time I realised that no it’s just badly developed and does that every single time.

Yeah the 4GO load times were terrible, and the gameplay wasn't awful but I remember it being the type of game where you have to pound back mana potions to do appreciable damage to anything.
