I like the Trader Joe’s stuff i don't know how drastic this effect is; if you eat a decaf coffee bean straight up chances are good it'll still taste bitter imo the bigger effect is just that you take out more than caffeine in the process even when you spray it back onto the beans

tbh i dont mind instant too much. via is pretty good but i don't buy it much because its so expensive. i buy some of the cheaper glass jars instead to have on hand when we run out of beans. the key i find is that a lot of these instant preps are very one note and by adding one each of a couple three kinds it comes out with a reasonable cuppa

i exclusively buy bustelo vacuum bricks. it is not the fanciest coffee. it is really delicious for the price. the grind is at the point that you can either do lazy drip brews or reasonable moka/french press pots with it. it's the superior preground bean.

some of the camping coffee bags in this style are pretty alright. kinda expensive compared to grinding beans at home but i usually have some in the cupboard because taking my aeropress camping is more hassle than i want
