For those of you trying to get GPUs, I just want to say that there have pretty consistently been cards on SAMart the last few months and the deals are usually pretty good since it's by definition sellers who are optimizing for ease/being nice rather than grabbing as much profit as possible. (I got a 2070 Super last month for not much more than its original MSRP! a steal!) My ASUS board would always try to restart a few times and then eventually restart back into BIOS on the third or fourth try of trying to post.

Just pull the video card and remove the battery then, its a 5 minute job, and be extremely thankful that you don't have an ITX board with the battery stuck to the back of the I/O, necessitating deconstructing the entire build to remove the motherboard and then having to take the motherboard apart to remove the VRAM heatsink and I/O shield to even get at the loving thing Ask me how I know

Also, you may not be able to utilize 2 NVMes at full speed and retain full functionality of the rest of your SATA ports, you'll have to consult your manual on if/which ports it disables, because usually the chipset will disable some SATA to make room for NVMe. while this is not absolutely always true, my impression was a 2tb SDD is cheaper than 2 1tb SSDs (and it leaves you more room for expansion). look around they go on sale quite a bit. e: err didn't notice you've already bought. you're in better shape than i am i still have old 128 gig ones i got super cheap loose in my case lol

Oh man I know that life. My current build has 8 sata drives in a case (Antec Nine Hundred) that supports 6, with a mobo that supports 6, and a pci add on that gets me the other two. I have drives taped to drives in a wall at the front of my case, blocking all the airflow I carefully thought out a decade ago.

HDD nowadays generally refers to the older style of drive with spinning disks, which are still commonly used for data drives where access speed isn't particularly important. There are a couple different form factors for SSDs, with the original ones simply being smaller than HDDs but generally hooking up the same way. Newer ones are an M.2 format and connect directly to the motherboard and look closer to a stick of RAM than a traditional hard drive.

The Arctic PWM PST fans have identical performance of Noctua for a fraction of the price. You can also daisy chain as many as you want without any splitter. But I highly suspect that performance is so good because they just copy the designs.

I figured I'd run the two preinstalled in the front, one in the back for exhaust, and then mount the 240 aio on top. Which got me thinking after some research, if positive pressure is ideal for dust, and negative pressure for removing heat, if the case fans aren't PWM then at idle when the cooler fans are spun down a bit, I'd get the benefits of positive pressure, and when the cpu is taxed, the cooler fans would spin up and I'd get the heat removing negative pressure. And then I read a lengthy article about how pressure differences in cases are negligible and mostly placebo and preference, and the only thing that matters is unimpeded airflow. So I'm not sure what to think.

I bought a Dell pre-built with a 3060 ti for 1100 euro's with coupons. Already ordered an aftermarket cooler and extra fans, but actually feeling pretty good about this. I'm sure I'll be proven wrong by Dell's QC.
