my favorite part about ron watkins in the q docuemntary is how far out of his way he goes to craft the image of being a japanese nerd. like the taped up glasses, the 4 foot anime statue that arrived right before the interview, taping manga pages to the wall and sitting cross legged in a robe. it was like the premise for a sketch but he was earnestly trying to fool people into thinking of him as some harmless nerd or poo poo
