I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?

In theory it makes sense. The military has a guaranteed federal budget and often outgrows perfectly serviceable equipment. Why not throw some surplus stuff to law enforcement that doesn't have the same requirements about interoperability, etc? No reason not to make public spending more efficient.

But because cops, it ends up with local budgets supporting ridiculous maintenance costs on equipment that has no business being used by civilians.

Is that an ASI course like vehicle recovery? Because that sounds like some H8 quals poo poo.

I know the army throws people in pools from time to time. I picked an mos that didn't have me jumping in pools.

I was a holdover waiting on orders and I missed opting into H8 school because I took a four day pass and hosed off for a weekend.

Never stopped my unit in Korea from assigning me a HEMTT wrecker.

Naah, just some bullshit thing they'd have units do.

I was supposed to do it... 3 times? One time someone died so they canned it, one time the generators outside got struck by lightning, and I think someone died again the day before we were supposed to go out for time number 3.

Have you considered trying to make this place better instead of being one of the reasons IKs got brought back into GIP?

In fact, a former coworker of his said he’d leave his dirty dishes in the breakroom sink instead of washing them because his salary was higher than the administrative assistant’s it was more efficient for them to wash the dishes instead.

I could give him the benefit of the doubt and say that was purely a thought experiment. Like "Beep Boop Robot brain says it costs the company $15 of your time vs $30 of my time" but I won't because that guy is a goober with consistently lovely opinions.
