Hm Yeah I figure it's the volatility of NFLX then? I'm a newb and trying to figure out the relationships that drive option prices. Here's a random assortment of tech/meme stocks, with their 4/30 call option prices on the far right, for a price ~10% higher than their current price. current. +10% option premium. DASH $133 $146 $3.60 TTWO $183 $201 $1.10 NFLX $539 $592 $7.60 LULU $300 $330 $1.71 CHWY $79 $87 $1.84 So yeah NFLX def stands out as being way more than anyone else. DASH I guess nets the call seller more too. I guess this data means more people are expecting a big move in NFLX and DASH than TTWO? (Is there a faster way to look up the volatility of stocks other than just looking at the option chain?)

many brokerages with have IV listed along with other stats but some you have to be looking at the options chain to get the IV. this guy has some pretty good videos that explain the greeks, and how they affect options pricing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCJcEOYuuII im sure someone will probably come in a couple posts from now and let me know that he's a total piece of poo poo, so sorry in advance

I was sure we would bounce hard off 400 but here we are. E: out of my SPY calls for +200% ROI. Was starting to be no fun worrying about them and theta was starting to ramp.
