I stumbled upon my middle school playlist and I forgot how much I loved mall metal and Trivium. Related to that, I love how many of the boss themes from FFXIV reproduce the sound of that early-2010s era of rock and metal. I showed my friends FFXIV and they took to it quickly--which is awesome--but they've vastly out-paced me because I'm a FF nerd and they are MMO gameplay nerds, which is less awesome. I bought a skip pass to try to catch up to them, but can anyone recommend a site or guide that helps newbies new to the MMO thing catch up with the general meta? Also, is which expansions have stories worth watching youtube for? I know people praise the lore, but I haven't paid enough attention to said praise to know the specifics

The 60 FPS mod that said it would break the game sometimes broke the game and I haven't had the energy to re-do that part again to see if I fixed it by no longer having that mod

I finished Genesis Noir last night. I'm going to write up some more concrete thoughts some time this week when I've had time to digest it a little bit, but my pithy one-sentence review would be "Genesis Noir is a fantastic animated film cruelly twisted into being a video game through the addition of insipid puzzling mechanics". Anyway here's a sassy videogame witch.
