Gog's character has been reworked a few times over the comic. Very early on she had a grim reaper thing going on, but that aesthetic got shifted over to (non-dream) Incubus. After that she had the whole deal with constantly mirroring the personality of whoever she last spoke to, but I think Abbadon dropped that in favor of Clown Mode because it meant she got to have a more concrete personality, which is a very useful trait for a character to have if you want to them to stay engaging over the course of a long narrative. e: drat there were a lot more replies here than I thought ThaumPenguin fucked around with this message at 01:20 on May 1, 2021 |
