Naaaaaaaaah unless there's something major like sexual assault claims from, like, 60+ women Tucker will never face any repercussions for his actions, the man is practically bulletproof at this point.

We'll all sit here and watch this monkey throw poo poo outside his cage, the struggling media circus will show outrage for all of a week before dropping it like a stone, Fox will air another batch of ready-made Tuckums to bring in gangbuster ratings with his audience that just won't tune out no matter what, rinse, lather, repeat.

Get used to seeing this pasty visage for the next twenty to thirty years, the Swanson heir will keep laughing all the way to the grave where he'll die old, wealthy and surrounded by loved ones.

I think he'd survive sexual assault claims at this point.

I think he'd need to cost the network money. He'd need to do something that gets Fox sued for slander or something. Or an open call to violence so egregious and explicit that it results in a lawsuit.

The third rail that gets you fired from Fox is and always has been costing Fox money. Glenn Beck wasn't too toxic and crazy for Fox, they loved him, but he stepped on the third rail when he started costing Fox advertiser revenue and was gone within a month of his show starting to air with zero paid ads. Same with Bill O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, and Bill Shine. They were all shown the door when their sexpest settlements starting costing the Murdochs actual real money. So long as Tucker doesn't do anything to infringe on Rupert and/or Lachlan Murdoch's bottom line, he's fireproof.

And since his advertising is all conservative ghetto scam poo poo at this point I think his biggest concern is just viewership dying of old age, since they usually don't change horses when they find one they like etc. He probably drafts a good number of viewers into Hannity, which I think still has a lot of "normal" advertisements.

I still think he may be a dead man walking. We've seen such an insane escalation these past few weeks alone that I cannot imagine him making it a full four years of Biden without saying something explicitly slanderous or openly calling for violence or otherwise doing something that gets him and Fox hit with a lawsuit.

Except even though he doesn't make a lot of ad money, since he's the top rated face on Fox now, he gets numps in front of the teevees. And if they're there, they insist on their cable company carrying Fox, which does put money in their pockets, more than the ad revenue lost. Plus, people tune in before and stay after his show, so those spots get higher ratings and so can charge more without his toxicity driving off the big advertisers. They may not run spots on his show, but the ones before and after are A-OK.

But the motivation for that bottom layer keeping things from their "lessers" is still likely feeling that they have power over other human beings, though, and they'll slavishly devote themselves whatever doctrine, party, or leader helps them maintain it. American conservatism in a nutshell right there I think.

So Josh had software on his computer to tell his wife if he was watching porn. Except he, or more likely a smarter pervert, made a separate boot volume for him to watch CP on.

quote:

Faulker also shared that when homeland security officials raided Duggar's car dealership and asked to speak with him without explaining why they were there, Duggar "spontaneously" responded, "What is this about? Has someone been downloading child pornography?" When asked point-blank about looking at or possessing child pornographic material, Duggar said that he'd "rather not answer that question."
