Now this thread has me wanting to watch Van Helsing. Watched Resident Evil 1-6 (the Paul WS Anderson films) over recent weeks on discord with some pals. Hilarious movies. I think 4-6 were the best ones, they just got more and more sublimely B-movie insane. B-movie zen was achieved. The bit where she storms Wesker's base with an army of clones of herself at the beginning of part 4 is some kind of revolution, way more so than even the Matrix Revolutions. I liked him in Arrival. though for all the cool sound design and score there’s a part where he says ‘let’s make a baby’ at room shaking volume that made me laugh. Max Payne 3 is a perfectly good long tech demo for future Rockstar gunplay but it’s a truly terrible Max Payne game and as a huge fan of the first two I was never gonna like that about it
