I did and I don't recommend it, once I heard about Feather I bought some from Amazon and gave all the remaining AE blades to my barber who throws razors after one use for hygiene reasons.

Get a handle from AE though, they got some nice ones.

For blades, I buy brand name on eBay. It's cheaper, but it's also the same product. Here's a listing for Gillette-compatible blades.

Don't.
Go buy a box of Persona blades for $10 that'll last you more than a year.

Safety razor blades are so cheap that I don't even think it's worth expending too much energy looking for a deal. I spent less than $20 about 4 years ago and I still have plenty.

I love the coins I've received. Each is in a hard "collectable" plastic shell, within a small sealable baggie, the entire set in another bag, and that bag inside a plastic inflatable with pencil-wide "bladders" that put anything I've ever received from Amazon to shame.

For loving doge coins. My previous order of bitcoins also received in the same way.

Can't wait to give them out this summer for birthday gifts. My intended recipients are tech savvy, so they're not going to think they're real, of course, but to see 10 seconds of their face contorted into "What the gently caress is this poo poo?" expressions after they open them will make it all worth it.

They have to be cheap enough to buy locally?

You'd think, but turns out the only local shop that has safety razor blades sells 5 gillette blades for 7,39€. So about 10x the price as on Amazon, but Amazon bizarrely don't ship like 90% of their blades to Finland.

I did find a 60 blade tester set that's got 5 blade packs from Feather and other manufacturers, so I'll test them out.

Just don't. Buy a safety razor from Ali sure. But good blades are so cheap that any money you save won't offset the loss of skin.

If it was bigger you could pass it off as a dice bag and gift it to some homophobic GM only to mock him later, but unfortunately these guys usually walk around with a much larger set of dice than would fit. Maybe twice as much at minimum.

Earlier this year I bought something through one of the spanish warehouses, and it arrived pretty quickly.
Today I received a scam letter going 'u won INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY!§! pls becus of LOTS OF FRAUD do not talk to anyone about this until it's settled! pls wire us money 2 get 1.8 million euro back we pinky swear.' claiming I'd won some spanish (but international) lottery.
I'm sure this is completely unrelated, and not the warehouses and sellers abusing/selling on customer details. :allears: Never gotten anything like this before, so it's too much of a coincidence that it happened just a few months after buying something through a spanish warehouse for Ali.

I vaguely remember the first time I shopped on aliexpress and I suddenly got added by a bunch of skype bots hawking aliX stuff. (Remember Skype?)

Pro tip: use unique emailadresses for all the websites. Gmail lets you add stuff with a plus so username+aliexpress@gmail.com works. If they sell your email you know what to block.
Or get your own domain with a catch all email. Costs a few bucks a month and works even better.

Sadly, many sites have caught onto the + and . gmail tricks, and block them from being used for the exact reason you think they do.

This was -physical- mail, actually. Honest to god letter with hand-written address and shoddily printed from something that looked like it had been printed and scanned before.
If it was just an email or whatever I would never have noticed since it'd go straight into spam most likely. (And I already have a couple different emails for different usecases.)
It wouldn't have been noteworthy to me if it was just an email, them having my name and address is far more annoying than just email.

I already knew of the ., but I wasn't aware of the + trick, so thanks for the info there.

Either way, those idiots are down 1.5 euro for postage, and whatever time+effort it took to send the letter.
I'm just kinda baffled physical scams are still a thing in this day and age.

It also came with instructions for a more advanced game you can play with friends, including cards with suggested punishments for the losers. They range from incomprehensible to deeply problematic, I love it
