I'm very pleased and hope that they can pressure other central banks into banning it or at least convince them to go through with it if they were too scared before

If we can get crypto to completely poo poo itself we will enter a new era for gamers who will be able to get rock bottom price 3080s

If his point is the East Asians strength in fighting Covid is willingness to give up individual freedom for common good, then it's impossible for the west to learn.

Which brings me to a related problem, I don't know if Confucianism covers Japan, probably not.

I mean it does seem pretty convenient. granted the US' framing of it is absurd but like. so is China using them as an excuse, isn't it

I guess the problem with a bus train is that there's too many moving parts to effectively control with a human operator, and a mere "self-driving bus" can't achieve the same scale of efficiency as having a bus train.

Depends on what it's called in Chinese.

If you add a few more cabs it would probably make more sense to call it a train in english too.

they’ve been doing that in the US since the 80s too, but nothing’s ever come of it. seems like it’s enough of a wealth transfer to be profitable to capitalists, but then again it’s a one time thing whereas Tesla can sell monthly self driving subscriptions

Road train thing kinda make sense to cities that still have old tram system and maybe looking for a cheap way to upgrade it.

But I have watched some European hilly tramway video, old rear end tram running in narrow rear end old district streets seem to be the selling point.
