yeah its $2.79 here too. McDonalds sucks now. not long ago we were getting free fries whenever the Raptors did a thing, dollar Coke Zeroes all summer long, and McDoubles for cheap. now its price increases on the McDoubles, price increases on the Coke Zero, and the Raptors fries thing is Ontario-only.

Looks like the Value Menu is a thing of the past, even the basic hamburger is $2.19. A McDouble is still half the price of a Big Mac, so its place in the overall pricing scheme hasn't changed, everything has just gone up. Meat is getting crazy expensive right now. At my local walmart the 1 pound chubs of lean ground beef are $6. So it makes sense that restaurants are raising prices too.
