With regards to young evangelicals. Israel has literally tried to "cancel" (not really) christmas to maintain it`s cultural purity. I mean name another western nation where the state does`nt like when there are too much christmas decorations and Santa Clauses to be seen. The evangelical nigthmare is real in Israel.

young people be shiftin', it's true. these numbers are from 2014 so i imagine things like gay marriage have an outright majority of young people in favor of them now lots of the "cool", casual churches in the suburbs have almost totally done away with scripture, often the pastor talks about random mundane bullshit like a seinfeldian standup act or platitudes about feelings instead of a sermon. i'd describe the majority of young white nondenominational christians as essentially really nice hippies
