My parents dog has the exact same toy for a little while. She normally rips her toys apart, but this pig got very special treatment for some reason. I've never seen any dog handle anything as delicately as she held that pig. Eventually the honker fell out and she lost interest in it, but I think it's still intact otherwise.

We got my parents dog an Ikea pig plushie and he carried it around for months, while usually destroying them in days. Dogs eyes can't process the color pink. To them it looks like some sort of psychedelic red and white shifting oddity. I have no idea if that's true or not, but I'm gonna roll with it.
