I like Wild Thing a lot but my brain has also been programmed to expect a murder when Unscripted Violence kicks in so I'm glad to hear it's staying. It's inextricably linked to some of my favourite AEW moments at this point.

Wild Thing seems really weird as a theme song because it's really a love (or at least lust) song with a killer hook. The Major League version at least alters the vibe a lot.

I liked the Troggs version specifically in the context of the Nagata match. I don't have a ton of use for the version they have as Moxleys theme right now but whatever, the audience can sing along. That's cool.

I wouldn't hate a Mox heel turn after not getting the job done in a couple feuds. He already sort of acts like one, he's just beating down other heels. I can pretty much already hear Eddie cutting a promo like "Maybe you weren't paying attention, we've always been bad guys."Ziggy Tzardust posted:This is a really good tron/theme and fixes the big issue I had with Page/Sky. Unscripted Violence is a much better theme, and hopefully Wild Thing goes away again once he’s done tagging with Eddie. I’ve never seen Major League because I’m not from a country that gives a poo poo about baseball, and I’m not deep enough into FMW to have a hardon for Onita, so it does nothing for me on either front.

They just play it too much. Save it for big stuff. Using it for Onita was the best use and it's gone down hill since because it's not as special.

I also hold the incredibly powerful opinion that Unscripted Violence whips almost the degree of the SCSA theme so I like to hear it. However I enjoy it when a tag team and its members all have individual music, especially when it’s a team of two individuals and not a tag team specialist/faction kind of thing. Like of the AEW roster, Young Bucks or Dark Order don’t need individual music for each of the members while Mox/Eddie, Darby/Sting or perhaps MOTY do.

I really kinda love Wild Thing as a theme, especially as crowds are coming back. His old theme was nothing to write home about, it was just your basic, generic rock wrestling theme. This at least gets the whole crowd singing along and having fun in a way less obtrusive way than the extended Judas singalong. Also, kind of hoping they keep the setup at Daily's Place for the next handful of Dynamites they're still going to be doing there before they hit the road. it made for some weird camera angles and missed shots as they got used to things, but it's sort of a neat shot having the hard camera in a spot where you see a crowd below/in front of the camera and across the ring behind the wrestlers. It's at least nice that AEW is routinely experimenting with layout like this and not stuck in the "hard camera here, entrance ramp on the left" for every show even though I know that's what we'll get in regular arenas post-Daily's.

Catching up on Dark Elevation, and everyone needs to see the Drake / Jungle Boy match. Not just because it's a good match, although it is, but because of how much the crowd absolutely lose it for Jungle Boy. Like, even moreso than in the battle royal. The match with Kenny is going to be insane.
