if its anything like california is now you might not even meet a doctor. you might just go to a bare bones office and they will bring in a doctor on zoom to approve the prescription. i let mine lapse a few years back but this was the entirety of my last pot doctor visit: "how's the medicine working for you?" "great" "approved!" *zoom call ends*

Then they give you a couple bucks cash for change. it’s odd but easier than hitting an ATM

My former employer had the shittiest loving insurance and I had several coworkers that had to pay out the rear end for medicine that would keep the alive/functional. It's nice working for a company that has very good insurance. It'd be nicer to live in a country that had universal healthcare though, obviously.
