Legit S-Tier intro. The dedication alone sets up a tone that few other shows can match. EDIT. on this kick, why is this the first time I'm hearing about Bandai doing redubbed version of episode 4 with David Hayter as Isamu? Apparently there was a rights issue for the dub that absolutely hosed them and they had to remake the soundscape from scratch. That explains why I never remembered hearing the Dogfight OST in the show, but for the longest time I thought it was a movie version only thing. Maybe with the Harmony Gold rights bullshit ending they could make a version of Episode 4 that keeps the original Japanese audio mix but also retains the Manga Entertainment dub track. The original was good for its time, but I vastly prefer the remake. The original art style doesn’t really hold up and the remake of course is going through all the material. So just watch that.
