Huh. Didn't know Lobo had a daughter, I assumed that was him. Didn't DC make him all bishonen with the New 52? Though I think they changed him back at some point.

They did but fan reaction (and sales) were so bad, nu-Lobo got quietly swept away and old Lobo came back with zero explanation. The only time nu-Lobo has been seen since was in a sight gag in a Rebirth Green Lantern title where they're in Brainiac's ship busting stuff up and Guy Gardner picks up a container with nu-Lobo in it only for Hal Jordan to stop him and say "Let's put that back on the shelf" :rimshot: And he's never been seen again!

Hadn't heard either term before, just surcharge without the tax. Should've googled first.

Would Captain America and Dr Doom have any reason to come to blows?

If you think about it, Dr Doom is kind of magical Captain America but for Latveria.

(I googled the spelling of "Latveria" and learnt that Latverian's occasionally celebrate Doom's Day when the good doctor feels in the mood.)

And really, whoever hasn't tried to take over the world in the Marvel universe can cast the first stone.

There's a Native American aphorism that crosses my mind at times like these: Invite Coyote to your party. Yes, he's a terrible guest, but if you don't invite him, he'll crash the party anyway, and now he's angry.

... Speaking of which, did anyone invite Loki to that shindig? Or any other Marvel interpretations of trickster deities, for that matter.

Thor was there, as was Black Panther but I can't remember if he's still God of the Dead. Both were there as Avengers though.
