ACT was one of the reasons I started watching Stardom again after Emi left and it's a drat shame what went down, because she was basically the prototype Maki Itoh. Act was charismatic as all hell and had a horrible life outside of wrestling and then she just got into a brawl with Yoshiko which she never really recovered from, it soured me on Stardom (In combination with Sonny being a shithead on social media) and I haven't really been a fan since. I know Act has her own promotion going on but it's not very internationally friendly. Someone lure back Kris Wolf to do this promotion's international promotion

ACTRING would need a lot of work to be accessible fully to an international audience because it's essentially stage plays interspersed with pro wrestling matches. Arisa Hoshiki is also involved in it now (under her musician name of Udon Sato) but I'm not sure if she's just acting or actually getting physically involved like Act is. The matches are really heavily choreographed so it's less of a risk for someone with Act's condition but they've still been physical.

I gave up when they did the reveal because it was pretty lame. its a video game but its bled into the real world I haven't seen new Makai episodes that have gotten english subtitles.

I have to admit, I enjoy the trajectory of the Maki Itoh and Yuki Arai rivalry. The failed idol who had to fight and claw for her spot now reaching superstardom across the world schooling the not-failed idol who wanted to jump into the ring, and doing it with spite. It's going be an interesting story to follow.
