Chimp would absolutely wreck me, assuming they were coordinating in a a way five year olds aren't actually capable of I could probably take 4, if they weren't coordinated, probably 7 or 8.

In the CS world it tends to be shorthand for "more than linear, less than non-polynomial." Basically, "there's an exponent in there somewhere." And waddya know: tons of goons are computer touchers.

In the CS world, "exponential" specifically refers to growth that's on the order of 2^n. Anyone in that field who uses it to mean something different should know better.

I'm not that surprised, the closer you are to the ground the faster it seems that you're going, that's why go karting at <30mph is still way more fun than driving a normal car.
