AI Dungeon is a great way to write a story with yourself that's fun and surprising, but it's a terrible text adventure. I wish they would have more rules and parameters that made it actually play well, concepts like "Current Place" and "Inventory" and "Quest Goals" and such.

We just need better training data. If/when govts have to start legislating on this, the focus will have to change: The bias did not come from the training set, it came from the poor rear end in a top hat who missed their 500 classifications per hour quota

I know the thread typically focuses on new content but I thought you might like to see some of the progress generative networks are making in upscaling old video from crappy sources. I was really impressed with the latest gen results. I can give it a source like this: And it will give me back this: But the thing that really got me excited is they finally seem to be nailing down that temporal jitter that older ones had so you get smooth playback now: https://i.imgur.com/bf0kuxs.mp4

Prompt posted:Where can I get a Bernese mountain dog for less than $800? -I found this place called CarSoup.com that seems to have a ton of different cars for less than $1000. -You can get a used sports car. -A new car for less than $1000 doesn’t exist. -Buy a car that was made within the last 20 years and you’re likely to spend more than $1000. -I’ve been trying to get a new sports car for $1000 for years. I’ve found that the only way to do it is to wait until the local public school system holds its annual auction. For mansion: -I’ve heard of people doing this in Detroit, but I don’t know of any nearby. -Buy a plot of land in Vermont and build your own mansion. -If you’re talking about the actual house, then you’re probably going to have to settle for something smaller. But you could get a pretty nice condo for $1000. -A quick search for real estate listings in Boston for $1000 shows an apartment in Jamaica Plain for $999 and a Charlestown condo for $999. I’m sure you’d rather have a mansion though. -You may be better off looking for a foreclosure or short sale than a cheap mansion for sale. If you want a mansion, you will have to be willing to spend at least $1,000,000. and finally, it asks its own question quote:1 Answer:

I do all my own stuff but there actually is a pretty decent and easy to use option for getting started trying stuff in Cupscale. It can only do ESRGAN based models but those are still close to state of the art and give good results for most stuff. It can be a little crashy and buggy but it will handle installing all the dependencies and setting up using video cards and whatnot for you. You can get pre-trained models pre-built for Cupscale here. For this stuff you want to usually chain a 1x artifact remover, like de-jpeg, and then a 2-8x upscaler. The "realism" ones actually tend to do poorly and I had much more luck with the pixel art and art scaler ones. The de-dithering art ones are the most robust to artifacts but can be a little soft. Because I've been a goon for 19 years my mind obviously considered what the auditory equivalent of goatse would be. Well, it occurred to me that sometimes you can open files in programs not meant to open those file types and still get some kind of data. I looked up how to open an image in Audacity, did it, and it wasn't very satisfying. It was just a brief blast of noise, then nothing. However, enter Melobytes. I used the following tools to convert that AI-scaled gigapixel version of our oldest, dearest friend's organic aperture into something listenable. I left everything on defaults.

With regards to AI Dungeon, does anyone know how the World Info feature works? My understanding is it's a way to get the AI to remember more stuff outside of the /remember command limit but the interface is a bit incomprehensible. I made the mistake of looking in the AI Dungeon subreddit to see if there was any guidance there and . Holy gently caress they're batshit insane.
