Hardness and strength are death's companions. Flexibility and softness are the embodiment of life.

That which has become hard shall not triumph.

greys were always real because life forms in similar ways all over this universe like fractals or from panspermia. as soon as the CIA saw one they just put them all over popular culture so now when any normal person thinks about a grey they think of those ridiculous looking fictional aliens that couldn't possibly be what aliens really look like

quote:

As if the Iran-UFO connection (the Axis of Alien-ness?) couldn't get any weirder, it now appears that the Iranian Air Force attempted to shoot down aircraft that didn't seem very Earth-like.

Before I go any further, the following does not come from a conspiracy Web site. It's from an article last October in Combat Aircraft Monthly, a military aviation magazine that features some well-respected writers. The article on Iranian F-14 Tomcat fighters by Babak Taghvaee, who has written extensively on the Iranian Air Force, also recounts how Iran attempted to intercept what it believed to be U.S. spy drones overflying its nuclear facilities.

What's interesting in Taghvaee's piece is how Iran describes the intruders, which the Iranians called "luminous objects" in the belief that they were emitting light to enable night photography:

According to Iranian sources, the CIA’s intelligence drones displayed astonishing flight characteristics, including an ability to fly outside the atmosphere, attain a maximum cruise speed of Mach 10, and a minimum speed of zero, with the ability to hover over the target. Finally, these drones used powerful ECM that could jam enemy radars using very high levels of magnetic energy, disrupting navigation systems.

In one intercept over the Arak nuclear facility in November 2004, an Iranian F-14 Tomcat tried to lock its radar on to a luminous object, only to have the radar beam disrupted. "The pilot described the object as being spherical, with something like a green afterburner creating a considerable amount of turbulence behind it," according to the article. The intruder then increased its speed and "disappeared like a meteor."
its an old article too, which i consider good.

There are people who can somehow make the world work and show consistency with like a 2012 liberal view of things when the majority of us no longer have a stable frame of reference for anything and at this point I'm just trying to not go completely off my rocker before i can start doing work in preparation to help my family and loved ones survive whatever the gently caress is coming, be it aliens, apocalypse, or some mere Reich ascendancy that could see me made an unPerson in law what i already am to so many people in love w/ hitler.

Like that's the thing you must be pretty comfy for your overton-window for reality to even exist still.

Everything but the small stuff, the interpersonal, in my life is a big (?), where i only have a rough idea of what the gently caress is going on, because nothing can be taken at face value anymore and i hate it.

I've always wondered how many instances of DNA have evolved convergently throughout the universe. given the number of galaxies and the number of planets in each one it seems like it must be more than one. like, possibly way more than one

the fears of rioting and stock market fuckery and people turning into gibbering idiots is based on what really?

if i go full tinfoil hat and also assume that disclosure means someone has been hiding free energy, a way past the need for money, all that happy crappy and that it had been held back for decades for profit then maybe some places would experience extreme social unrest but cmon...people dont go insane at the sight of things that are strange.

why is this fairly unimaginative thought that we find other life and can talk with it going to break the back of the world in the first place?

Humans have not been able to communicate with any other species other than teaching them tricks or to associate phrases with activities and we treat every other species terribly. I dunno what that means in the context but I'm sure there's some kind of inherent "we had it coming" sort of thing. Just think of the discourse around covid and how it's "the earth fixing us". We're just a really self loathing species I think.

collective guilt, though maybe earned is so very indulgent that its disgustingly probable actually yeah

collective being the thing there

i think a big chunk of people, not lots but not isolated either, but a lot still would become somewhat disconencted enough to cause problems for the money machine and day to day that maybe thats part of the issue

self loathing? how can u acknowledge human progress and politics and not be disgusted?

acknowledging you are a tiny cog and daring to think outside of whatever is enslaving you? this is dangerous aliens or no and always has been

I wonder what is entailed by shutting down navigation systems. If a jet got blasted with a magnetic beam strong enough to disrupt the radar's magnetron, wouldn't that gently caress with other systems? Does that imply they can selectively target the radar on an intercepting f14?

I think it's interesting if they can ping a radar that has like a 1 square foot cross section in a jet going 1500 mph, possibly while moving themselves. If they can shoot a magnetic beam at the whole jet and shut down all magnet-based devices, that's also cool. Maybe they just return fire on the active radar beam with their magnetic beam, though.
