It was fairly easy to make a few bucks a night just playing 50/50 games with guys who hit for high averages. Yada yada, that got boring so I lost all my money in like a week doing crazy long shot tournaments.

What I've learned in my short time is that after I get my dopamine fill I can just leave the money in position and have a reasonable chance of coming out ahead if I didn't do something utterly bugfuck like... I dunno... invest in Circuit City or something.

Speaking of dumb penny stocks, is it ridiculously rare for a company like that to eventually grow to be a "real" stock? Like, is it ever worth it to hold them a long time in hopes of ridiculous gains years down the road or is it pretty much just gambling in trying to grab a decent profit while it's up because it's almost certainly dropping back down to nothing eventually?

Sold DPLS at 0.095 and it got to 0.096 before cratering. drat I’m good, that’s a very easy and tasty grand. No idea why it spiked. Sadly I’m at my limit for day trades or I’ll get a margin call (no idea what it is, but it sounds bad) on my account, so I’ll see you guys next week.
