Getting into the ring was loving terrifying because I was worried about literally showing my rear end to half the arena. Christian came out for the main even and cut a promo on me about how it was disrespectful to cheer for the US military when the Canadian military was much better (or something like that). After the show was over Kurt Angle did a picture with the TNA title and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He took a picture with me and my girlfriend at the time and let me hold the IWGP title. That is my TNA house show story that nobody cares about. that loving rules (other than the torn pants)

Even that was funny in hindsight because my girlfriend (who absolutely did not want to be there) was like "Ohh you tore your pants we should probably go....." and I'm like "You are out of your drat mind if you think I'm going to let something like that make me leave early." So that became a joke with her and I "How much of your pants would have to rip for us to leave (wherever we were)"

anything can happen in the wwf and its usually terrible I bet they're dumb and open the show with the cell, then raise it, have matches then lower it again for the main. By which time, they pop they got from HEY ITS A FUCKIN CELL will have completely burned off because the 90 minutes between cell tease and cell deliver will continue to be the absolute dirt worst since Dixie Carter took out a payday loan.

I would understand if Fox was mad, though. those guys feed me Instagram ads when their fireman shows have special episodes about firemen telling other firemen's kids that their daddy isn't coming home from this fire, they probably wouldn't mind 36 hours notice to push something that's normally a PPV deal

By far the funniest option is just like Sting and Stone Cold on the Brock/Kofi Smackdown, they just don't do the match for unknown reasons (million bonus points if they hang the cell for no reason) but then also don't run it at HIAC. Just poof gone.

Sometimes I think about how ridiculous the in-storyline WWE company is portrayed. Like, within the fiction of the TV Show this is supposed to be a combat sports league like the UFC. Except they never book any matches, they just...turn the cameras on and hope enough of their employees have blood feuds going on to fill out 2 to 3 hours of live programming. And then, on the rare occasion the sports league actually bothers to schedule a fight for a big money show, one of the competitors makes a tweet going "gently caress you I'm doing it tonight instead" and the league is like "....yeah fine I guess we'll just not make any money from this fight then." It boggles the mind if you think about it for more than a nanosecond.
