Eh, Bryan wasn't a good person who was a dick, he was a hypocrite who cheated and then covered it by saying "how can you criticize me when you eat hot dogs? How can you criticize me for cheating when you used to be fans of me when I didn't cheat?" or whatever. It was by far the least interesting aspect of that character, imo the much more fun stuff was him, either consciously or subconsciously, trying to create his own replacement and eventually succeeding with Kofi. I think what you guys are thinking of is, like...Prizefighter Kevin Owens, before he got together with Jericho, I guess? Who's a guy that's just fighting for his family and doesn't cheat and can even beat John Cena clean, but he's also a gigantic sadistic rear end in a top hat who will stomp on someone's throat without even thinking about it if he thinks it will get him one centimeter further than if he didn't.
