I got double-vaxxed with Pfizer last week. felt like I was stoned for a bit a couple hours after the shot but then no real immediate side effects except a sore arm. Partner had some lymph node swelling. I've felt exhausted and a bit sore the last few days but not sure if that's the vaccine or just the great combo of solstice+heat wave.

There was even a mention of some conspiracy theory that the flu/restrictions were Canada trying to punish Mennonites for speaking German and not fighting in WWI. Winkler's a weird place.

Making vaccination targets be the headline metrics was the dumbest thing. Ford should have led with the 3 week gaps as the main criteria and include the vaccination numbers as supplementary targets, since it was a total inevitability that we were going to hit the phase 2 / 3 targets insanely ahead of when we 'should' have. Now everyone is acting like we're artificially keeping things closed, when the plan still makes sense just on the timed gaps alone. I've given up on Reddit, they've gone full blown "open everything up immediately".
