I dont think that's how it works technically, the part I reckon you're referring to is that during lockdown you're allowed to leave the lockdown area to return to your home anywhere in qld but you have to act as if you're under the SEQ/Townsville lockdown rules if you get there after 6pm. Ultimately I think anyone with half a brain would realize they should probably err on the side of caution here, but the timing on this stuff is never immediate in order to not gently caress over any edge cases

ABC is reporting that if you leave the areas going into lockdown before 6pm you still have to follow the lockdown rules wherever you go.

ABC's reporting the rules apply to anyone in SEQ now regardless if they escape, the QHealth website makes it sound like if you're out before 6pm you don't need to follow the lockdown rules. Regardless of what's on paper it's the wrong thing to do hey.

Screw the AMA; I don't see that it has anything to do with them, as long as their members are getting professional indemnity and guides on how to provide informed consent. (which as far as I can tell they are.)

Yeah presumably even if the qgov website is accurate, which is a big fuckin stretch given how useless politicians are in general, ABC is telling a pretty reasonably justifiable porky pie in order to stop fuckwits violating the spirit of the rules.

I simply registered as soon as I knew, having had the Service NSW app on my phone for a year.
Used it to Register. They asked me when - pick a date and time.
They confirmed, shifted some times 15 minutes either way.
I took the train to Sydney Olympic Park. It was a big place with many businesses, but there were signs.
When I got to the destination, there were lines. The lines looked long but moved very quickly.
When I got to sit down and wait for my shot, I thought it would take forever. It took 15 minutes. The doctor/nurse was lovely.
I sat for 15 minutes in recovery and felt nothing.
A nurse came up and asked me how I felt and if I was okay I could go. I thought – you guys really have your poo poo together!
The second time was twice as fast as the first.

Now I have full immunity. What loving difference does it make when Dickhead Scomo says it's 'Not a race"?

Rumor is October. Also "low risk" is approximately the equivalent risk of getting struck by lightning. The risk of serious complications from Covid is much greater, and the risk of infection is much more likely with the latest variant.

Four pages sounds a bit low with the number of cases you've got, tbqh. Victoria had 102 cases of community spread between May 24 to June 26 and got up to 4 or 5 pages at some points from memory, NSW is already up to 141 cases in just 10 days

The woman, 27, tried to jump the restaurant counter before allegedly biting a 44-year-old customer who was attempting to intervene.

The couple then ran away and Mr Jamalifard said he saw them go to another restaurant but police found them a short time later.
