It's a bullshit mechanic.

I play exclusively mobile and don't have a problem with the occasional aimed shot, but also would find it way easier with a pc and mouse. I'm not sure how I would do if I was using a character who used aimed shots routinely. The balloon shooting game for the event earlier this year was a bit tedious though.

As an fyi, Kazuha only buffs the element he swirls rather than all party members' individual elements. (I know a lot of people suspected this.) I don't love the design of his EM scaling so if I don't adore him in the trial I'll probably skip. It's a shame his buff doesn't scale with attack or crit.

Realistically yeah there's probably not much I can do with Kazuha that I couldn't do with Sucrose instead but I just think the way Kazuha does things looks really fun. The elemental damage buff seems powerful (I also just assumed it was just for the element he swirled) but not game-changing. I'm pulling for the Fun Factor basically

Theoretically yes, that's what people have been thinking. I'm sure Kazuha is fine in either though, his +dmg isnt far off from sucrose's effect even in reaction comps.

Like I guess you get some Intertwined Fates too every 10 levels or so and a hell of a lot more weapon and leveling mats then the F2P line, as well as a free choice of bonus 4 star weapon provided you feel like min maxing the Battle pass enough to qualify for it, but I don't know if it's worth 15.99 per season or however much they charge versus like 30 days of frankly the most valuable in game currency just dropped on you for the price of your average drive-thru lunch. The Zhongli they give you for the initial quest just has good equipment, from what I remember. I've just defaulted to beating him up with superconduct and a good physical damage dealer. It's not optimal, but it works well enough for me and I don't have to adjust the entire team around his changing resistances. And it's what I got. He never gets resistance against Anemo for what it's worth.

Decided to do Azdaha with Beidou instead of Eula this week because he is frost and wow he is so much easier when you can just slap aside an attack every 7 seconds. I had forgotten how much more dynamic the game feels when you have an active counter.

The number 1 lesson to have a not-reviving chain time against Azdaha is to just run away when he's doing the massive, constant stomping. There is a limit to the range, and it's his only real Zhongli buster (aka kills most others) move.

Some of the more recent bosses would be much less obnoxious if they were more clear that they were invulnerable. Azhdaha and Maguu Kenki both have phases where they don't take damage but you can still hit them and see normal damage numbers.

I only have a 50% chance of getting Kazuha for my first 5* right? After all the waiting I'm still wholly at the mercy of RNG and there's like 10% chance I get Keqing who I'll never use. That would be soul-crushing. Whoever I get they are very likely a sword user so I really need another 4* sword. I have a L75 prototype rancour at R2. I have two lovely-looking 4* swords with energy recharge and 2 extra sword billets that I held off using in case I came into this situation. Had a couples time of being very confused as Eula's burst did its blast and I saw a huge number and then his life bar didn't budge. Speaking of Eula, hit a new damage record today - over 300k (didn't catch the exact number, but was between 300 and 310k).
