I made garlic bread and spaghetti. I put extra sauce on the spaghetti to dip the garlic bread into.

So I'm gonna throw some shortribs in the slow cooker to bring to a dinner ahead of time, with no BBQ avail is the broiler a decent call to reheat them and maybe get a bit of a crust?

Look to your left. Look to your right. Only one of you is going to pass this course.
I've had these jarred Cento artichokes for a long time and wanted to use them in something. So I chopped them up, mixed them with some light ricotta, shredded mozzarella and parmesan, mixed garlic, chopped spinach and shredded chicken in there then poured some of the oil from the artichokes in there. I took that stuff and stuffed some red peppers with it and baked them at 400 for like 45 minutes. It was good.

It's been too hot. On Sunday, I fried a mess of chicken thighs and have been eating them cold with hot sauce. Accompanied by green salad and followed, when I can get the energy to reenter the kitchen, by a berry ice I made on Saturday and have been chipping away at.

When I was finished making the fried chicken, sweat was literally rolling down me into a small puddle at my feet and I showered and napped. I can't take this kinda hot.

I'm (hopefully) coming off of a bender right now so I have no energy. I got Burger King for lunch and I don't have much food in my fridge. I could make a steak or chicken breast but that's just too much work right now. I'd have to thaw it and take out the grill.

So... it's probably going to be Maruchan spicy chicken yakisoba noodles or SpaghettiO's with chicken meatballs. Or both.

Sad dinner. :(

Ended up continuing my bender and got taco bell tonight. The nachos bell grande. I added some fire sauce on top, about 4 packets, but added about another 5 packets as I was going through it.

I used the oven to reheat some General Tso's chicken, an eggroll and a few crab rangoons, it was still good.

Was that general in charge of chicken farming back then, or are they all his chickens that we are buying now?

Is there a General Sesame or General Orange?

i browned up some ground beef w/ onions, poblano/serrano peppers, garlic, toasted cumin/coriander and ancho, half a cup or so of leftover rice and a couple cubes of demiglace, salt/pep and some white wine to deglaze, and i simmered that down till it started to stick to the pan again before stuffing it into bell peppers w/ mozz and baking them. and while that was happening i deglazed the pan again by sauteeing some yellow squash in it w/ curry leaf and mustard seed and a fresh tomato

it was all very good
