You can fail a piss test weeks after smoking if you're a regular (and even a swab test a week or so later), but pretty much anything else has 5-7 days at most (3ish days for swab) for heavy users.

Caesar Saladin posted:shoutout to my high school doing expensive hair tests to drug test students instead of a normal piss test like an actual proper paying job might do Anything more than a swab test is unnecessary. What you do in your own time is irrelevant to your employer as long as you are not under any influence during work hours. I'm firmly of the belief from a personal privacy and liberty point of view that all testing should be tuned to detect only active ingredients, not metabolised byproducts that have no intoxicating effect.

Even those swab tests aren't very accurate though and give more false positives than they should. IIRC the first person they ever busted one with during a roadside drug test in Victoria successfully sued the police for damages because his test indicated that he'd used drugs when he had not, and the cops tried to make an example of him by dragging his name and photo through the media. Personally the only job I've ever been drug tested for was when I worked in a call centre at Energy Australia which I found a bit loving ott. Can't have people getting too blazed before a 7 hour stint of having to listen to customers bitch about their bills being too high, I guess

THC is Soluble in fat that's why you put weed in butter to make brownies/cookies. Not sure how it works in the body long term however.

Working from home next week, because we have all agreed it's impossible to stop everyone bringing in their whole rear end family and friend group, so we're doing telehealth. I'm so excited you guys! That's 3+ hours a day I get back from commuting and no more panic attacks from mask/glasses/gown combo! Never gonna come back to the rooms, they can pry me from the couch that I am absolutely going to become fused to.

So I wandered next door to JB Hifi and that's the story of how I got Ratchet & Clank for $100.

Presumably because he has to live there and doesn't want sick or poor people being anywhere near him. Also the doses are a mix of Pfizer and AZ, and I'll bet you that ratio is favoured heavily to the latter.

My grandmother’s 100th birthday is coming up and with all the lockdown stuff we’re not sure if it’s going to happen or not. All the family's supposed to be coming down from all over the place. Since NSW’s lockdown is going to drag on for the foreseeable future, can I ask that QLD gets their rear end in gear and issue a lockdown as well? Doesn't have to be long, just six weeks or something. ‘Cause I’ve been having anxiety issues about the whole party since January, and just cancelling it altogether because no-one can come would be great. Thanks.

Bill Posters posted:The automated phone system for setting up payments will suggest some pretty aggressive instalments at first but you can lower them down quite a bit. Bit late but you can also do what I did last time I owed them, get the BPAY info and then set up a recurring payment through your bank without having to talk to them or come to any sort of agreement at all. I owed them $5k which I paid back over the course of two years by chucking in $50 a week (and a tax return helped finish it off) and they never called me about it. I think as long as you show you're paying in they wont hassle you too hard.

Yeah it's this ^^^. The automated system thing will try to anchor high by default, but if you make the effort to speak to someone there without them having to chase you up, you can negotiate a pretty affordable repayment and have it automatically deducted over a long period of time.
