The best part of Rick nash is how good he was and then he completely became poo poo on the bruins. What an incredible human.

It's about finding that next group of core players we can win with in the next 6, 8, 10 years. Let's face it, it's hard for 20-, 21-, 22-year-olds to lead an NHL team. Look at the playoffs.

Was Nash also just absolute trash defensively? I don't remember, but seems like a pretty good comp.

I'd hate to limit my comparisons to just the sweater he wore most often but he really did have a strong Cam Atkinson vibe to him if Cam Atkinson was giant

just a huge loving pesky guy who had no business being that far ahead of your defense and he always was and sure enough yeah he scored

I remember a Sportsnet article hyping him up as a future 60 goal scorer after a few seasons in the league. It was a 'best players under 21' or whatever list and they had Kari Lehtonen with the caption of "in case you wanted to see what Martin Brodeur was like when he was young."
The 2002 draft was really hyped up. Bouwmeester was supposed to be the best defense prospect of the past 30 years or w/e. Even when he got signed by Calgary I remember people were touting him as secretly a superstar

Rick Nash had that 41 goal season when he was 19 with no support when offense was at it's lowest so you could sort of see it.

interesting set of assumptions that 1) the people who live in the gated communities are tampa fans rather than dessicated snowbirds and 2) they give a gently caress
