I have a cat who does this. She goes for my boob though, since the only time she does not get attention immediately upon jumping up by me is when my hands are busy. I’m usually leaning forward at this time. It hurts, but I also think it’s hilarious since it’s just so naughty. She has also broken skin when nibbling on my fingers and scritches have not been forthcoming, so I think the causing of pain is on purpose. She’s actually the most loving kitty ever. She just seems to not exactly know how to get her point across that she wishes to cuddle NOW. Or to understand why I can’t always cuddle NOW.

Oh him so myad! Him so scary. Don’t tell him he’s adorable. I just wanna stick a meal worm in that maw and see if he calms down like when the Battie lady puts a banana in front of a distressed fruit bat. No clue of carnivorous bats become at peace as soon as something edible is in reach. https://youtu.be/4HFf83CYDbE https://youtu.be/2Ns2hwg-Fzs Out of curiosity, are bats carrying rabies a concern in England like they are in the US? Iirc, when dogs moved to the up from the us, England’s was not too worried about the rabies vaccine. Probably because the quarantine period covered the period from infection to symptoms or something. Bored posted:Out of curiosity, are bats carrying rabies a concern in England like they are in the US? No, we're completely rabies-free in the British Isles. Rabies-transmitting species like cats and dogs (cows, sheep etc can of course *catch* rabies but don't transmit it too well because no sharp teeth) have to quarantine for six months, (shorter or not at all, depending on species, if coming from the EU and some other countries with a pet passport showing vaccination). Potential carriers like livestock can come in without quarantine if vaccinated and with paperwork showing they have never been to areas with endemic rabies. Hmm, an island nation using quarantine and vaccination to completely eradicate a dangerous disease, what a remarkable idea, I wonder if it could have applied at any point in the last two years?

We don't have rabies in Aus but our bats carry a host of other nasties like encephalitic fever.

I am dog sitting the most perfect angel. Seriously, he's the most well-behaved dog I've ever met. Doesn't bark, just loves to cuddle all day and when you put on or take off his harness he does a little bow.

Kinda looks like the happy face butt spider is also thinking “I might have to keep this one as a pet” I love when people are trying to get jumping spiders to do something and the jumping spider looks up at the human, looks back and the finger, new habitat, stick, whatever, and does whatever the person is trying to get them to do. “Is... is this what you’re asking? Well, ok, sure. I can do that”

There's a video of a big wolf spider climbing out from behind someone's desk covered in dust bunnies. It lets him pull the dust off it's feet one by one, lifting each leg as he goes. I had exactly the same thing happen last year. It just sat on the wall and lifted a leg in turn as I pulled the dust off its feet. I mean, it's a spider so I don't want to read too much into what it "knows" is happening, but it's cool nonetheless.
