What is the best number?
Mata seems like the type who could make a good coach someday. Not sure if that's factoring into any plans but he's certainly had experience with a lot of different coaching styles: https://www.transfermarkt.com/juan-mata/leistungsdatentrainer/spieler/44068.

Sancho, Varane and Camavinga would be a hell of a summer window for United.

Rangers have signed John Lundstram on a three year deal after he left Sheffield United on a bosman. Sounds like they hosed him over a bit when they came up as well?

Milan are probably selling Hauge to Eintracht for about double what they bought him for. I expect him to blow up there and be worth 5 times more in a few years and get himself a nice transfer like Andre Silva has done.

Really annoyed at this poo poo where we’re losing not only proven players but also all of our potential good players for nothing or next to nothing. Good thing we’re holding on to our world beaters like Krunic and Castillejo. Gazidis!!!!!!!!!

Is that with or without a new contract for Messi?

NinpoEspiritoSanto

Without which is why they haven't signed him already. They need to get more off the books before they can offer Messi anything.

He wasn’t in the EL squad; he definitely was in the league team and made a few appearances. I think Pioli either never rated him or didn’t know what to do with him. I thought he was fine when he got his chances. This is one of those things that could just have been a money spinning operation from the beginning or a waste of talent (equally possible I think).

Seems like they had it since 2013 when Tebas became in charge.

https://www.marca.com/2013/09/20/en/football/spanish_football/1379697598.html

I guess each team has a different salary cap based off of club revenue and other things like debt and stuff. It also seems like clubs can go over a certain amount

https://apnews.com/article/la-liga-premier-league-europe-barcelona-soccer-18982456c2183b4e9dd86d773207ab1c

quote:

The Spanish league slashed the salary cap for Barcelona down from a league-high 671 million euros ($796 million) for the 2019-20 season to just 383 million euros ($454 million) for last campaign. A new salary cap is expected to be announced in the coming weeks, but with Barcelona’s finances still a mess it is expected to be much more generous. The salary cap is proportional to 70% of a club’s revenue.

They cut their wage bill from 650m to 350 in a couple of years and need to cut it to 160m before they can register anyone new - including depay, aguero and out of contract Messi

Funnily enough they (now) have rules against external transfers of money into clubs so they wont do either. Which is why Tebas has been whining so much about PSG and Man City the past couple of days

The funniest part about it all was that one thing that said Messi actually makes Barcelona more money in commercial income than he costs in salary, but they've been paying other players so much that they still couldn't re-sign him to keep bringing in that commercial income.
