Jarrett appeared at my local indy a few years back. He was plastered, but having a great old time doing his song and interacting with the fans. Then he did an angle in the ring, threw the best worked punches and kicks I've seen in person and did his song a second time.

He came and did a “general manager for the night” gimmick at my local indie, and ended the show by breaking a guitar over the heel’s head and singing his song.

Jeff Jarrett was always good.

When he came back in the Royal Rumble a couple of years ago, I was blown away by how much better his punches were than anyone else on the card.

Also, he and Road Dogg dueting on With My Baby Tonight and bombing horribly was hysterical.

Memphis-style punches are a lost art at this point. Like as much as Jeff Jarrett sucked at a lot of things and was overpushed, he did have some ring skill going for him.

Also I kinda liked his incongruous "Aztec Warrior" gear during the NWA angle in WWF in '98

Uhh...hrm, getting too positive about Jarrett for my tastes here's Christian making fun of that mysoginist gimmick he had.

There are definitely some parts of his career I’m interested in hearing him defend like I wish Conrad would bring up the Nazi twins. But it does come across like rehab and God have turned him around in a significant way and recently with HBK and Jake and Hall I can’t totally begrudge that

"And I did it, because I was a man who had exhausted reason and thus turned to magicks"
Was listening to the WOR radio show with an interview with Jericho about his new book. He dropped an interesting tidbit about his departure from WWE he hadn’t mentioned before. He was in the process of negotiating his AEW deal and he was also talking to WWE.

Previously he’d said he was negotiating with Vince, who gave him his blessing, then when he took the AEW deal, Vince asked him could he get out of it.

This time he mentioned that rather than dealing with Vince directly, Hunter was meant to call him. Hunter big timed him and didn’t call Jericho, so Jericho just texted Vince the AEW offer. Vince gave him his blessing to go ahead, so Jericho did so. Jericho’s opinion was that they thought he was bluffing so he took the offer, then Vince called asking him to get out of it.

What’s hilarious about this to me, is that Hunter was probably telling Vince, that Jericho was bluffing so they let him go to AEW. In Vince’s mind Hunter left the door open a crack for AEW, so Vince probably blames Hunter for AEWs success. Him failing to beat them in the Wednesday Night Wars probably worsened that opinion, leading to Hunters fall from grace.

As someone who finds Triple H loving up really funny, this was really funny.
