Makes sense for Suriname, Guyana, and French Guiana to be part of CONCACAF for geopolitical reasons. They share cultural ties and common languages (Dutch, English, and French, respectively) -- and their economies are more integrated -- with their Caribbean neighbors. Israel is a member of UEFA for geopolitical reasons. Greenland has the option to join CONCACAF for geographical reasons or UEFA for geopolitical reasons.
