I just remembered that 10k forgiveness was dropped from the corona relief bill earlier this year. It was just overshadowed by Sinema thumbs downing minimum wage increase. i'm sure all those congresspeople who tweeted "abolish student debt, pass it on" are getting right on that legislation!

These Cuba comments are horrible. These people are all gullible pieces of poo poo. I could sort of see how people ended up with this kind of attitude with Venezuela, since there were at least significant issues there and the US/West's role in it was less obvious, but Cuba is a country that consistently does better than other developing nations despite the US embargo (which has extremely obvious and severe economic effects). These people are just blindly assuming that "the people are protesting against authoritarianism!" based off of some pictures of crowds of like a few hundred people. Incurable stupidity.
