This is cool to know. I’ve always just thought the flat bread with spices was just called za’atar. And I wouldn’t call it a pizza either

Important pizza-related news from Sweden. Both these guys were convicted of murder and sentenced to 18 years in prison. They took two members of the prison staff as hostages and demanded a helicopter to release one of them. After talking to a negotiator they agreed to release one of the hostages if they got two kebab pizzas. Further negotiations led to them demanding that all 20 prisoners in their ward would get a pizza each. Eventually they agreed to release a hostage after they could verify that 10 pizzas had been distributed among the prisoners and releasing the second hostage when all prisoners had gotten their pizzas.  This is Beshar Toma. The hero who stepped up to make 20 kebab pizzas.  The police picking up some of the pizzas. The hostages were released and the cops eventually paid for the pizzas.
