*pushes up glasses* mauls can be hit with hammers, it's literally everything else about how they're doing it that's stupid

Literally every single "How is this gonna go wrong/make me cringe" expectations were defeated: -Dude didn't keep his hand on the log to steady it while the first one took a swing. -Axe head didn't fly off. -Second guy didn't trip on the log at his feet and in fact kicks it away. Nope: literally the hammer's head flying off into the poor guy's balls, despite that actually being a reasonable way to use a hammer. Though the fact that the end of the handle being all taped up makes me wonder if this hammer has had this problem before. Probably a good time to run down to the hardware store and pick up a new one where the wood hasn't aged and shrunk out of the slot. satanic splash-back posted:His form is awful and I can't believe he ever expected to split wood like that. Dunno how much work he expected to be doing in those shoes. Looks like family or a friend visiting a farm being put to work to be honest.

Looks fine, should probably put the gas cans in front of the heater so you don’t get the hot air blown directly on you. Dries out the skin.

you also have to be a pretty special kind of stupid to do that in reverse, I think a dented rear gate can be crudely repaired and look pretty good for a hundred bucks, but a new windscreen or grill?

The only real problem I see is that the gas cans probably contain either diesel or kerosene and that can lead to problems when someone confuses things later I really don't miss selling gas cans to hillbillies and/or boomers complaining about how modern cans are too complicated even after I demonstrate how to use them one handed without spilling anything. Only benefit was when they'd complain about how everything these days is plastic and made in China and I'd point out the metal gas can made in the USA only to watch them quietly buy the plastic one that costs half as much.

Then the time comes and we present them the quotes back. They always quietly go for China and make it out of unrecyclable plastic to save themselves a few dollars a unit. Amazing to see the exact dollar value of their principles!
