So today, as I did the first time the event happened for the Inaugural Title Match, I strongly considered traveling to Chicago to see All Out in person, my first real Activity since the Pandemic began. The possibility of being there for Punk's return to wrestling just like I was for Moxley's debut at All In 1 was so very enticing, and I happen to have the following Monday off work! But then I checked ticket prices. Holy crap, they're insanely high! I got pretty good floor seats at All Out 1 AND All Out 2 (despite it being canceled) for just a couple hundred bucks, but WORSE floor seats are going for around 500! 200-ish will only get me seats in upper stands. I don't know if I can justify the price of a decent ticket, a 2-night hotel stay AND a plane ticket, that comes out to almost a grand, forget about if I wanted to take the 3rd day to sightsee since I've never been to Chicago before. Is this because of seating restrictions meaning every ticket needs to be pricier or is just a consequence of AEW's success meaning they can jack the ticket prices?

Stubhub has always been legalized scalping. EDIT: I very, very briefly worked on a contracted out customer service team for them in 07. Another great thing about that match was Eddie repeatedly calling the Big Bang Theory the most dangerous move in wrestling today. Really good Elevation last night by the way.
