There are dozens if not hundreds of blog posts going into great detail about how seasons 3-8 were amazing, and a handful of episodes like S8E2 or S9E2 are just ingrained in people's minds for good or bad. Simpsons was a pretty drat popular show bringing in 20M+ viewers for quite a while. Same thing as talking about someone's 2012 G1 run.

I feel like 'Behind the Laughter' was the series finale to The Simpsons like how WM XXX is WWE's series finale. Except Simpsons didn't fall off as hard after.

Time once again for me to explain how Behind the Laughter marks the end of the Simpsons cartoon and everything after is Homer's show he talks about making in Behind the Laughter and that is why it is so bad and relies so heavily on celebrity walk-ons and it all makes sense follow the clues people!

i would watch the simpsons a lot when i had cable tv and it would often be the best thing i could watch in that block but now that i can watch whatever i want i have very little desire to watch the simpsons let alone care about the minutae of it
