This is not Arghoslent apologetics The reason I've read that people don't hound on MC/Stargazer too much for the Arghoslent split is because it supposedly "came out before they were out and proud racists" and the only Arghoslent song on the split is half instrumental/half a song about Germans killing Romans. That split came out when i was in like 5th grade so idk if an older goon more familiar with the scene back then knows otherwise.

The label put it together and they weren't familiar with the band or their more overtly racist songs 2. They're an Australian band who didn't really have any awareness of the scope of American chattel slavery and thought at worst Arghoslent were just going for shock value 3. They were young and stupid and had a phase a la Fenriz Mostly it's just weird because a lot of people I know who heavily scrutinize bands and will cut them at the drop of a hat over shady associations or quotes love Damon Good's projects and just seem to ignore this release with the most famously racist band out there.

And I think the Forest Seasons is severely underrated, one of my top 10 albums.
