I've never had a cat that enjoyed being pet for a long time or even let their belly be touched. Every single one of them has been a rescue, and all but one adults. Someday I will have a non-fussy kitty! e: here's part of marcy

she's doing... okay. was really on the upswing and then had a flair up of her nasal infection and stopped eating for a day, but seems back to normal now. trying to shove food in front of her as much as possible. just wish she were as cool about the vet as winston who purrs so hard that they can't get a good listen to his heart, headbutts the otoscope when they try to look at his ears, and makes biscuits while they feel his abdomen to make sure his organs are ok.

They do. The shelter put out a post saying that she had been there the longest and not a person had looked at her. So we brought her favorite food and fell for her. She’s very sweet and lets you know when she’s had enough lap time. Nice change from our other three who are like Velcro.
