We've been saying for years that it's a ludicrously bloated roster and they needed to trim the fat. The only surprising thing here is that they're actually doing it. do we think that nxt not moving back to fullsail is a pretty big tell that they're going to be axed prolly after takeover 36 and roll everyone into raw and sd during superstar shakeup after summerslam

Man. Pre-USA, NXT was never a big money maker, but it was a good show, it got people over and it created cache with the hardcore fanbase. You can argue that it had lost what made it special before the USA move (infinite DIY, etc.), but they really, truly, genuinely did put two bullets in the back of its head by forcing it to compete with AEW. They destroyed the last thing in the company that was even kinda good to.....take a couple hundred thousand viewers away from AEW for a year and a half. Once again, why am I seeing endless rematches if the roster is this big? Even the money in the bank qualifiers which requires the competitors to have 0 story together cause the mitb is the story was all rematches
