Which mod is that? I tried to find some during 1.2 but everything I was finding didn't look like it was updated.

getting our ballistic diplomacy program up and running kind of goofy you can shoot a bundle of the tanned skins of your enemies back at them and they instantly become your allies but I won't judge them

Kinda wish dryads grew back limbs, not sure how useful this lil guy is gonna be. Probably just gonna let him bleed out and grow a new one tbh. Gotta say dryads own against mechanoids and bugs due to their 80% armor piercing though.

Had a siege pop up and a quest to let 45 man hunter cougars come into my map at the same time. Always a terrific time when people sent to kill you just kill each other.

Welp, forgot to forbid butchering and meal making of meat from venerated animals, so now I have 150 fine meals that causes massive mood penalties lying around. Ah well, guess I'll just sell them to a passing trader.

A Wizard of Goatse posted:Would a sacred cow burger factory be sustainable, like would you be able to balance the moods at a certain ratio of animals slaughtered Not sure if it work for cows, since slaughtering venerated creatures cause colony-wide debuffs. Only reason I got so much venerated meat lying around is because I chose Caribous as the animal, and there's a ton of caribous that randomly dies around the map (and also I released about 20 of them because I realized I didn't have enough hay to get them through the winter).

Rational Romance did have a strange bug where the chance of pawns hooking up goes screwy. One of my colonists nearly starved to death because he was repeatedly dragged into the bedroom. Went on for a whole day, he'd make it halfway down the corridor before being hunted down.

Yeah, the biosculptor freezes your pawn like a cryo pod so it won't fix all your problems, but considering how stupidly cheap and low tech it is to build you can use it for a variety of things. If you put the biosculptor pod in a really dirty room, it'll slow the sculpting so you can use it as a budget cryo pod!

Archonexus changes posted:- Upon new archonexus settlement, player now retains research up to classic start. Some improvements to the archonexus line but man, not even keeping your techprints anymore sucks. Tribals get thrown a bone if I'm understanding the classic start note correctly but Tynan really wants you to slog through early game research again I guess. Makes Research Specialists somewhat useful, I suppose. In unrelated news, mech clusters can be cool and good, I had a quest cluster one drop in a spot that controlled like half the map edge so I woke it when a Black Hive raid showed up and it soloed the whole thing. I still have to deal with cleaning up the cluster myself but it's softened up now, and I have a pirate raid scheduled to arrive in 1.5 days from another quest, so hopefully one of these problems will solve itself. The cluster's fog generator means the forest fire that started from the mech on bugs fight is probably going to clean out the entire half of the map on the other side of the river but oh well!
