Which mod is that? I tried to find some during 1.2 but everything I was finding didn't look like it was updated.

kind of goofy you can shoot a bundle of the tanned skins of your enemies back at them and they instantly become your allies but I won't judge them

Kinda wish dryads grew back limbs, not sure how useful this lil guy is gonna be. Probably just gonna let him bleed out and grow a new one tbh.
Gotta say dryads own against mechanoids and bugs due to their 80% armor piercing though.

shooting pods of loot really breaks Neuroquake in half, you can instantly fix the very modest -10 or whatever relations penalty for casting it. in exchange for a really small amount of loot and having a pawn take a week long nap (which I'm pretty sure could be spent in a biosculptor pod!) you can just mass berserk everything in the map any time you want :psypop:
e: just threw it on a 50 hive infestation that was spread out over my entire interior lol

e: ok, -12 mood for baseline psychic sensitivity for a week, that's something

Bones of rimworld or whatever it is has one.

Edit:

In fact it's one of my most used resources. It's just like wood but not flammable. So I use it for doors, training artists etc as it's less hassle to use than growing wood and all that jazz.

Also use it as my staple starting resource for tables and chairs, most furniture actually.

Ah well, guess I'll just sell them to a passing trader.

Not sure if it work for cows, since slaughtering venerated creatures cause colony-wide debuffs. Only reason I got so much venerated meat lying around is because I chose Caribous as the animal, and there's a ton of caribous that randomly dies around the map (and also I released about 20 of them because I realized I didn't have enough hay to get them through the winter).

Given its place on the tech tree I'm pretty sure the biosculptor is just a tanning booth anyway

to expand on this a little bit more into what i was thinking before i got distracted, this is the big reason to me why tribals are the Objectively Superior choice if you can survive your first 4-6 quadrums. psycasts solve so many problems, and getting your fave five decked out with all kinds of brain tricks is extremely doable in the first two years or so. it's even better if you get a visitor that won't do work, because you can assign them a meditation spot and just set their schedule to 10 hours a day of meditation at the tree. it's such a delight.

Yeah, the biosculptor freezes your pawn like a cryo pod so it won't fix all your problems, but considering how stupidly cheap and low tech it is to build you can use it for a variety of things. If you put the biosculptor pod in a really dirty room, it'll slow the sculpting so you can use it as a budget cryo pod!

A surprising number of other fairly significant fixes as well, including a lot of improvements to the new ending path. Especially these two:

- We now reset incident grace periods when starting a new archonexus settlement to make for a smoother start.

- Upon new archonexus settlement, player now retains research up to classic start.
- We now reset incident grace periods when starting a new archonexus settlement to make for a smoother start.
- We now reset biosculpter timers after archonexus resettlement.
- We now reset prevent various events from happening too early after new archonexus settlement.
- Fix: Techprints retained on archonexus resettlement.
- Fix: Players can load a caravan and bring disallowed items to new archonexus settlement.
- Fix: Relic destroyed notification sent when player starts new archonexus settlement if they can't bring it.
- Fix: Possible map junk wiping archonexus structure.

Some improvements to the archonexus line but man, not even keeping your techprints anymore sucks. Tribals get thrown a bone if I'm understanding the classic start note correctly but Tynan really wants you to slog through early game research again I guess. Makes Research Specialists somewhat useful, I suppose.

In unrelated news, mech clusters can be cool and good, I had a quest cluster one drop in a spot that controlled like half the map edge so I woke it when a Black Hive raid showed up and it soloed the whole thing. I still have to deal with cleaning up the cluster myself but it's softened up now, and I have a pirate raid scheduled to arrive in 1.5 days from another quest, so hopefully one of these problems will solve itself. The cluster's fog generator means the forest fire that started from the mech on bugs fight is probably going to clean out the entire half of the map on the other side of the river but oh well!
