Bibliotechno Music posted:They already approached the idea with Rory Redhood transforming a fiefdom into a workers’ collective. If you’ll remember, Val nodded sternly but approvingly. In that story the local baron or whatever was on the villagers' side and had handed over authority willingly. It would be interesting to see a story where Val encourages a real revolt against a corrupt noble. As a royal heir himself, I feel like he might be conflicted about something like that - although Val's certainly expressing some interesting views on obeying the law in today's strip. Judge Parker (November 2020) American election campaigns are ludicrously long, but they do end eventually. And with that it's over and Sophie has to find something else to do with her time. So she's going to New York. And Neddy's made a decision too. But no one's going anywhere just yet, and I'm sure you're all wondering what's happening with Abbey's B&B. It's not going well.

Quinoa and cauliflower are delicious Ed up yours. Jucika "191 - Jucika's Theatrical Partner" Heh, got'em. "192 - Jucika Makes Better Use Of The Working Hours" Jucika adds "Makes Better Use" to the title for the joke, give or take a few extra words. I guess it'd be "Jucika's Working Hours" originally.

For the historically curious panel one is almost certainly a reference to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Fish#Hurricane_controversy: quote:A few hours before the Great Storm of 1987 broke, on 15 October 1987, he said during a forecast: "Earlier on today, apparently, a woman rang the BBC and said she heard there was a hurricane on the way. Well, if you're watching, don't worry, there isn't!". The storm was the worst to hit South East England for three centuries, causing record damage and killing 19 people.

Jon Arbuckle for the guillotine. And now that's over and done with, in today's Blueberry: Things escalate, or McClure gets upset at Wooley, or The systematic destruction - slaughter is the wrong word, because you slaughter an animal you actual use for meat - of buffalo was started by the likes of Medicine Bill Comstock and Buffalo Bill, but they were not responsible in themselves for the genocide - the rail-line helped with that, with some people reportedly shooting the creatures from the windows for no other reason than that they could. This type of attitude is, I feel, best illustrated by the type of person who could see this and think 'Good job'. You can find more information from this link from the Smithsonian

Hwurmp posted:Is Erin still the devil? I forget In this context? No. I think it's explained in a later story that the human part of her split off from Mordawwa and that's the Erin we see here, but she remerges into one being before being deposed as queen of hell later on, and the Erin we see in the final case is her back on Earth for good.
