Yeah me neither! Woooo torture party!

That scene and Martok standing alone amid a field of corpses drinking blood wine and not giving a poo poo what the Federation thinks are the standout moments of the finale.

Being they were wood fired wooden rocket, it was incredibly efficient, as you could just break off pieces of the rocket to power itself as you go.

Modern rockets could only dream of that kind of efficiency!

However, GFR reveals that they’ve heard Cirroc Lofton could co-star on the series as Sisko’s son Jake, a role he played on Deep Space Nine. This is apparently a point of contention between the two parties, though, as CBS isn’t interested in having Lofton involved but Brooks is allegedly adamant about it and says he won’t do the show without him.

If we say Jake fell through a time thing and is a little older now, would you accept Tony Todd in the role instead?

My dad and i have been going through tng season 3 pretty well. We did allegiance and captains holiday last night and tin man today.

My dad knows i talk here about the episodes and one thing he noticed, particularly in tin man, how if you take out scenes out of context they could be porno scenes. He was curious if anyone else did.

My more serious inquiry is about how certain scenes in TNG were allegories for being tin man. In tin man, tam says to data that hes just different and people could see it as a sin and this was 1990, so i was surprised. Ive noted little bits here and there but was tng considered a big deal for lgbt or was it bigger in later shows?

It's such a good scene. Martok has a point and it's ambiguous enough whether he's embracing Klingon tradition and really enjoying himself or if the wine is meant to keep him from feeling the same as Sisko and Ross.

Also the two Cardassians who nod in approval every time someone talks on the big billboard screen get a cameo crushed under rubble at the start.

specifically

Avery had a problem with the notion a Black father essentially disappears from his children's lives, fitting a stereotype. So he doesn't feel coming back and not having Sisko's family addressed is a problem.

EDIT: But it is entirely possible this is also rumor.

This however is funny and I would like to see it happen.

Good for Brooks, sticking to his guns.

Jake Sisko should’ve been the hostile skeptical reporter who interviewed Picard at the beginning of the season. A serious but understated critique of Picard's hubris would’ve been the perfect meta of one series critiquing another starting a third “this is not your Dad’s Trek”. Alas.
