I dont think the IRS would let any of the current coins be elevated into digital dollar status and I'm sure some department has already hired a team to sit on their rear end and play around to make a digital dollar at least from the conceptual standpoint. I can totally see america screwing their own dollar because they half rear end it in response to something, anything, china does though.
