Speaking of favorites, I haven't kept up with sumo in forever and I got really bummed when I saw that Gagamaru retired last year. I loved seeing him compete. Dude was so huge and round, he couldn't pivot to save his life. Good on him for making komusubi and getting a kinboshi during his career!

Alright which one of you nerds bought that Kakuryu magnet that was in my cart but apparently there was only 1 left. Apparently waiting 45 minutes to know if I wanted to spend $60 on sumo magnets was too long  e: You'll pry my Yoshikaze from my cold, dead hands.

It was a joint workout, Takayasu, Enho, Takanosho, Ichinojo, Shodai, Onosho, Asanoyama, I think Nishikigi and Tamawashi, probably bunch of others I'm not noticing, guys from lots of stables. Everyone with a white belt there is in Juryo or above.

I just updated the OP with new storylines as we start heading towards banzuke weekend. The least important but funniest thing I noticed while looking over SumoDB to jog my memory: there is an Onomatsu wrestler in makushita whose shikona is "Genki"
